Introducing Arrowkey Controls

We’re delighted to announce the launch of Arrowkey Controls: a new feature that allows Occupational Therapists (OTs) to move OT Sketch objects in both 2D/top view and 3D view using the arrow buttons on their keyboard. Users will of course still retain the ability to click on and move objects with their mouse.

Enhancing Navigation in Design

OT Sketch’s new Keyboard Controls feature assists users in enhancing their navigation capabilities by enabling the movement of objects in both 2D/top view and 3D view using the arrow buttons on their keyboard. With this feature, users can easily adjust the placement of objects with just a few keystrokes, saving time and enhancing the efficiency of the design process.

Precision in Movement

One of the key challenges that users face when designing home modifications in CAD software is precisely moving objects in an easy way. OT Sketch’s new feature addresses this challenge by allowing the movement of objects using keyboard controls, ensuring precise and accurate adjustments. This feature significantly reduces the risk of errors and discrepancies in the design process.

Flexibility in Design

The Keyboard Controls feature is not just about speed and precision, it’s also about flexibility. Users can also use this feature with all of our different snapping increments, providing the freedom to make small or large adjustments as needed.

Summary

Overall, OT Sketch’s new Arrowkey Controls feature is a significant advancement for users who are looking for easy-to-use CAD software. With this feature, users can easily move objects in both 2D/top view and 3D view with easy keystrokes, while still retaining the ability to use their mouse to click and move things if they want.

If you’re an OT looking for an easy and efficient way to navigate through your home modification designs, OT Sketch’s new feature is definitely worth exploring.
